Cassandra Duignan

With more than 20 years of experience in the child and family services sector, Cassandra has built her career around strengthening foster care and supporting better outcomes for children, youth, and families. She joined Key Assets Ontario in 2012 and, after progressing through a range of leadership roles, became a member of the Executive Leadership Team in 2021.

A Child and Youth Worker by training, Cassandra brings extensive experience in foster care, organizational leadership, team development, service delivery, and sector partnerships. Her work has included leading teams, supporting foster families, strengthening organizational practices, and building collaborative relationships across the sector. She brings a practical understanding of foster care and a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and better outcomes for children and youth.

Cassandra also serves on the Boards of Directors of the Ontario Care Collective and Safeguards Training, contributing her experience to the broader child and family services sector. She remains committed to strengthening foster care and building partnerships that create meaningful change for children, youth, and families.
